ARC Raiders’ Frozen Trail update goes live tomorrow, October 8, at 9:00 a.m. UTC (4:00 a.m. CDT) on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
Embark calls it the biggest drop since launch.
The same window opens a free weekend through October 12 at 8:00 a.m. UTC on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation.
Progress from the free weekend carries over.
The new map is Pendola Pass, an old Italian village and Exodus transport hub beyond the Rust Belt.
Celeste and Shani traced a signal there. A fallen Emperor sits in the middle, with rare tech inside.
ARC sends a Frigate, one of its largest ships, to patrol it.
Raiders can board it.
New ARC units are Bully, Skulker, and Hydra.
The map adds verticality, dense interiors, and Flash Freeze weather that pushes players into Avalanche Shelters, which also hold loot and draw other Raiders.
Also in the update: a new Raider home called the Outpost, guns Stiletto and Bantam, a fifth weapon tier, a Skill Tree rework, and a Reward Pass that replaces Raider Decks.
Cred expires when the update hits, so unspent Cred is gone after October 8.
Embark has also been reworking Celeste with new motion capture and face scanning.
