Kingdom Hearts Collection [I–III] is Square Enix’s current-gen package of the Dark Seeker Saga. Full release is October 8, 2026, at $74.99.
Pre-order by 11:59 p.m. on October 7 and you get 48 hours of early access, which is why store pages stamp October 6.
That early window is for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Microsoft Store Windows version.
Switch 2 starts on the 8th.
It is on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC through the Microsoft Store. Xbox is Play Anywhere.
Physical editions are PS5 and Switch 2, and those still need an internet connection plus a download before they run.
Steam and Epic already sell the older PC collections. This release is the console jump plus a Microsoft Store PC version, not a brand-new Steam drop.
The bundle is three existing collections, also sold separately. HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX covers Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, Re:Chain of Memories, the 358/2 Days cinematic, Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Birth by Sleep Final Mix, and Re:coded.
HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue adds Dream Drop Distance HD, 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage –, and the χ Back Cover movie.
Kingdom Hearts III includes the Re Mind DLC, with the extra story, Data Organization bosses, and the gameplay modifiers.
Counted straight, that is seven playable games and three story movies. It is single-player, rated E10+.
Each platform gets its own Keyblade skin with purchase. PS5 is Midnight Blue. Switch 2 is Long Night.
The Xbox listing calls its version Phantom Green. Physical copies also include a reversible inlay.
The real new piece is Switch 2.
The old Switch versions of these games were cloud. HD 1.5+2.5 is native this time, and a Kingdom Hearts III + Re Mind demo is already on the eShop.
Early Switch 2 coverage says the set runs well in handheld and docked, with KH3 the one that dips in heavier scenes.
If you already own the PS4 or Steam Integrum set, this is a port bundle, not new story.
Kingdom Hearts IV is still the next numbered game.
The collection exists so current-gen and Switch 2 players can finish the saga before that.
