Microsoft has officially announced that community-created Social Clubs on Xbox consoles will be discontinued starting in April 2026.

This change affects Xbox One, Series X, and Series S, where the entire Clubs tab will be removed from the Friends & Community Updates section.

You can't create new community clubs anymore, and all existing ones will be deleted.
Official (developer/publisher-created) Clubs are not affected—you can still access them through a game's "Game Card" in the menu.
Microsoft's reasoning: They're prioritizing "social experiences players use most," like Xbox messages, party chat, Discord integration (now built-in on consoles), Looking for Group, and the activity feed for clips/screenshots/achievements.
Social Clubs saw low usage over time.

Reactions: Some gamers are upset, especially in communities like Forza Horizon (where clubs coordinated events).
On X and Reddit, it's called the "end of an era," but many note they rarely used it anyway.
The news broke around February 13, 2026, via the Xbox Support page.
