Arc System Works dropped a 4K gameplay trailer today for Phoenix Cyclops, the first Year 1 DLC fighter in MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls.
He joins the 4v4 tag fighter on November 2.
Ray Chase, Cyclops from X-Men ’97, voices him.
Classic and Legacy costumes land the same day.
This is not base Scott Summers. Producer Takeshi Yamanaka said they picked the Phoenix Five version from Avengers vs. X-Men.
He is an all-rounder: Optic Blasts at range, ricochets, rushes, throws, and close strikes, plus wide Phoenix fire that covers the screen.
Optic Blast use builds Solar Shards.
At four shards he can transform into Dark Phoenix.
Attacks, including the optic beam, pick up Phoenix fire, then the armor reforms and the cycle starts again.
The base game launched August 6 on PS5 and PC.
The Year 1 pass covers four characters and one stage.
Starting today, PlayStation Store has the first sale, with the Ultimate Edition discounted, and PlayStation Plus gets a 3-hour Game Trial.
