Warfare Without Limits is here.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is the final chapter of the rebooted Modern Warfare saga from Infinity Ward.
North Korea launches a full-scale invasion of the South that threatens to destabilize everything.
Two stories collide: a young South Korean Marine facing live combat for the first time, and a rogue Captain Price operating outside the system he once served.
The Campaign, Made Cinematic
Drop into the mud and fire of trench warfare on the Korean Peninsula as Private Park Hyun-Jun (Young Mazino) and Squad Sierra-1 fight to hold the line.
Move to brutal close-quarters combat in the streets and buildings of New York.
Tear through high-octane vehicle chases across Paris.
Execute SAS night raids through the dense streets of Mumbai.
Then join the city-wide assaults to reclaim occupied territory as the war spreads beyond anyone’s control.
One thread follows Park and his squad—inexperienced soldiers thrown into large-scale, boots-on-the-ground combat as the front collapses.
The other follows Captain John Price (Barry Sloane), now an outlaw after the events of Modern Warfare 3.
Hunted by his former Task Force 141 brothers (Ghost and Gaz) while pursuing a personal war and a new threat known as The Archer (Mads Mikkelsen), Price crosses every line he once drew.
The two stories intertwine into a darker, more dangerous conclusion for the series.
Early reviews call the campaign one of the strongest in recent years—visually impressive, tightly paced Hollywood-style action that sticks the landing on long-running storylines.
Campaign Early Access is live right now (October 16) for anyone who digitally pre-ordered or pre-purchased the Standard or Vault Edition.
Full launch (including multiplayer) hits October 23 across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. DMZ Early Access follows on October 20.
Previous Call of Duty owners (from 2019’s Modern Warfare onward, on the same platform/account) get a 10% loyalty discount off the Vault Edition through roughly October 22.
Multiplayer & DMZ
Twelve all-new 6v6 maps at launch, fluid movement tech, a new Ballistic Authority gunplay system, returning Gunfight, large-scale Big War maps, and more.
DMZ returns as an expanded extraction mode set after the campaign.
